Looking Back, Moving Forward: Cheers to 2024!
As 2024 draws to a close, I’d like to take a moment to reflect on some of the key milestones and achievements that have shaped our year at Lorega.
We continued to invest in our systems, ensuring that the process of binding cover and reporting claims online remains as simple and seamless as possible. We also ensured that we continue to meet the new Consumer Duty standards, reaffirming our commitment to providing products that deliver value, transparency, and clarity to policyholders. As always, we’ve been delighted to offer valuable training and webinars, covering everything from product features and benefits to technical claims insights, to help our broker partners.
We are proud to renew our Chartered Insurance Underwriting Agents status, a testament to Lorega’s unwavering commitment to technical competence, high professional standards, delivering positive customer outcomes. This prestigious recognition reinforces our expertise, demonstrating to both brokers and policyholders that we adhere to a professional code of ethics and best practices.
We had the pleasure of meeting many of you in Manchester during the annual BIBA Conference, where we exhibited as the official scheme provider for Loss Recovery Insurance and After the Event Claims Services. It was wonderful to reconnect with many of you and share updates on our product offerings.
Our claims service has also been strengthened by the addition of new Chartered Loss Adjusters, ensuring that our customers receive timely, expert support when they need it most. We also recruited new talent to the Operations and Broker Relationships teams, making sure we keep offering dedicated attention to our brokers and policyholders and ensuring our customer satisfaction remained at an impressive 95% this year.
A highlight of the year came in October when Lorega achieved a five-star rating in the Insurance Times MGA Survey for the fifth consecutive year, and eight consecutive years including the previous Broker Service Surveys. Being ranked number one out of 31 MGAs by no less than 1,650 brokers is the cherry on top! This is a proud achievement for us, as service excellence is at the heart of everything we do. Whether it’s providing quick responses to underwriting queries, delivering engaging product training, or offering comprehensive claims support, we are dedicated to supporting our broker partners, every step of the way.
In conclusion, I would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to each of you for your ongoing partnership. It is a privilege to help you look after your clients, especially when they need it most. We will continue to be on standby throughout the Christmas period, ensuring that your clients are supported even during the holidays.
