What happens when you need to make a claim for your Loss Recovery, Cyber Recovery or HSE Recovery insurance policy?

If you are a policyholder

If you have one of our policies and have experienced a claim, in the first instance you will need to contact your insurance broker, who will be able to complete a new claims notification sheet.

You can ring us yourself, but it will speed the process up if you are able to get in touch with your broker first. Your broker will then get in touch with us directly to begin the process of getting you expert help, when you need it.

If you are a broker

Please fill in the applicable claims notification sheet, which can be downloaded in either PDF or Word format using the links below. Once this is completed, you can either email it to us or ring us on one of the following numbers:

Cyber Recovery: 020 7767 3075

HSE: 020 7767 3078

If you are using our online quote and buy system, Lorega Online, you may also have access to our FNOL facility which will let you report a claim on the online system.

What happens once I’ve made a claim?

Once your broker has notified us of your claim, depending on the policy you have, one of our experts will be in touch to provide the expert help you need.

Loss Recovery Insurance

On receiving notification, if you are covered by our Loss Recovery Insurance product, one of our claims experts will contact you and arrange to visit you within 24 hours. They will work with you until the claim is settled.

If you are covered by our Lorega 10 insurance product, one of our experts will call you to discuss your claim and give you immediate advice.

If you are not covered by our claims service insurance products, you can still benefit from our Lorega Expert service, contact us and we can provide a Experienced Chartered Loss Adjuster to help you with you claim at a rate based on the complexity of your claim and the time involved.

If you are covered by our Loss Recovery Insurance product, one of our claims experts will contact you and arrange to visit you within 24 hours. They will work with you until the claim is settled.

Lorega Expert

Cyber Recovery Insurance

On receiving notification, if you are covered by our Cyber Recovery policy, our Cyber Emergency Response Team (CERT) will contact you within 24 hours and work to investigate and assist with the restoration of your systems. They will liaise with the regulator and communicate with your customers to limit the damage to your reputation. 

Cyber Recovery Insurance

If you are covered by a cyber recovery policy, we will arrange for our Cyber Emergency Response Team (CERT) to manage the crisis.

HSE Recovery Insurance

On receiving notification, if you are covered by HSE Recovery Insurance, one of our health and safety experts will contact you within 48 hours to give guidance by phone on the actions you should take to handle the Health and Safety Executive Inspection

HSE Recovery Insurance

If you are covered by a HSE Recovery policy, we will arrange for our Health and Safety Exerts to manage the crisis.
