Malcolm Harvey

Malcolm’s raison d’être is to change the way general insurance claims are handled. He tells us that whilst insurance contracts cannot be changed in the way they are administered, with some lateral thinking we can make claims much easier for the policyholder.

He maintains that whilst he lives and breathes, all he thinks about is Lorega and Loss Recovery Insurance. We do however know that he rather enjoys off-shore yacht-racing and the odd day’s shooting. He lives in Sussex, is married with a son and daughter.

Neill Johnstone

Neill is pedantic to the n’th degree and genuinely takes delight in making claims easier for the policyholder. He controls our national panel of Chartered Loss Adjusters.

Outside of insurance he is a veteran footballer and staggers out onto the pitch every weekend. During the summer you will find him out on the highways and byways on his Harley Davidson. Irrespective of his mid-life crisis toy, he is married lives in Surrey and has twin sons.

Lee Bennett

Lee is the corner stone of Lorega’s broker office support and runs the entire function. Woe betide the broker whose bordereaux is even one day late.

Lee obtained a degree in film which he says helped him develop! He lives with his girlfriend in Surrey and having spoken to both Neill and Malcolm will never, ever have children.

James Barder

James comes from a long heritage of Lloyd’s insurance, his specialty areas are corporate governance and alternative risk transfer mechanisms.

James is also the CEO of a listed pharmaceutical business, is a sports fanatic, is married and lives in Sussex with his wife and two daughters.

Andy Mintern (ACA BA)

Andy qualified as a chartered accountant with Coopers & Lybrand, now part of PWC, in 1984. He worked in both the London and New York offices, where he specialised in corporate finance.

He has since served as the Finance Director to a number of listed plc businesses and is now as a director to a portfolio of clients. He joined the Lorega Board in May 2010.

As a hands-on commercial director, Andy has a strong track record in working with businesses to improve management information and reporting systems to drive performance. He uses his presentation skills, to write for the a number of business magazines and gives lectures to the combined Institute of Accountants and the IOD on how to get more out of the finance function.

He lives in London and Rutland at weekends. His passions include his family, music and the arts.
